Regular maintenance of your ResMed CPAP or BiPap device is important for hygiene and performance.
Home Cleaning Frequency
Daily, clean the mask and tubing with warm soapy water and empty the humidifier. Weekly, wash the tubing and clean the mask cushion and headgear. Monthly, wipe the device exterior, check the air filter, and inspect the humidifier tub for wear. Always ensure parts are dry before reassembling, and avoid harsh cleaners.
Maintenance Schedule
Every 3 months, replace the filter—more often in dusty areas like Kathmandu. A full device service is recommended every 6 months to remove internal dust and ensure everything runs smoothly. You can do basic cleaning at home or bring your device to our Kathmandu service center for professional maintenance.
